Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hostel Warden, based in Chennai. The Warden will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including ensuring the safety, comfort, and discipline of the residents. Duties include overseeing hostel facilities, managing housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations, and responding to residents’ needs and emergencies. Additionally, the Warden will handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, maintaining inventory, and addressing maintenance issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Leadership and management skills to oversee hostel operations and staff coordination
Interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain a friendly and supportive environment
Knowledge of safety protocols and measures to ensure the security of residents
Organizational and administrative skills for record-keeping, inventory management, and addressing operational requirements
Flexible and approachable personality to handle the diverse needs of residents
Prior experience in hostel management or a similar role is an advantage
