Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate canteen operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
  • Plan balanced menus in coordination with management and ensure cost-effective procurement of food materials.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, portion control, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage canteen staff schedules, training, and performance.
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ensure zero wastage.
  • Handle billing, cash management, and daily reporting of sales and consumption..
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Address employee feedback and complaints regarding food or service promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits of kitchen cleanliness, storage, and food safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in canteen operations.
