Job Description

Oversee floriculture, landscape design, nursery (indoor/outdoor), and herbal garden management.
Supervise fruit production, greenhouses, permaculture, and biodiversity park projects.
Manage crop cultivation, vermicompost, biogas, and waste management operations.
Prepare and monitor horticulture and agriculture budgets with cost-saving initiatives.
Approve procurement indents and maintain accurate financial and MIS records.
Ensure timely plantation, maintenance, and seasonal readiness of all green areas.
Oversee nursery production, polyhouse upkeep, and event-related floral arrangements.
Implement sustainable and eco-friendly horticultural practices.
Assess manpower needs, prepare duty rosters, and ensure full staff deployment.
Conduct staff training on safety, sustainability, and best horticultural practices.
Maintain first aid kits, staff welfare, and hygiene standards in accommodation areas.
Monitor quality of produce and ensure proper storage, sales, and documentation.
Promote in-house seedling, plant production, and landscape innovation.
Maintain records as per NAAC and other regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with new technologies and execute tasks assigned by higher authorities.
