Home Tutor Life Skills & ECA (Special Child Education). Location: Rajiv Nagar, Mysore. Timings: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Type: Full-time | In-Home Tutoring. About the Child A bright, well-groomed, and intelligent 12-year-old with exceptional learning capabilities, obedience, and curiosity. The child possesses strong observational skills and a genuine interest in learning through experience, creativity, and play. The role is not just to teach, but to nurture confidence, independence, and joy in learning. Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and well-qualified tutor who can guide the child in developing life skills, social awareness, emotional intelligence, physical coordination, and computer literacy through both theoretical and practical activities. The tutor should combine patience, innovation, and empathy to make each day a blend of fun learning, structured education, and personality growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily sessions (10 AM - 3 PM) with a balanced mix of theory, practical learning, and interactive play. Design and execute custom lesson plans focusing on: Daily life and self-care skills (time management, hygiene, personal safety, basic home etiquette, communication). Social and emotional development through conversation and guided activities. Cognitive and problem-solving skills through puzzles, board games, and real-life scenarios. Basic computer education (typing, MS Paint, educational games, digital literacy). Motor skills and coordination through light physical exercises and outdoor/indoor games. Encourage reading habits, creativity, and expressive arts (music, drawing, storytelling, role play). Track progress through simple weekly reports and coordinate with parents for improvements. Maintain a safe, positive, and emotionally secure environment at all times. Desired Candidate Profile Graduate in Special Education / Psychology / Child Development / Education / Life Skills Training or equivalent. Prior experience teaching or mentoring children with special needs or inclusive learning experience is an advantage. Excellent communication in English (and local language if possible). Energetic, empathetic, disciplined, and patient personality. Ability to creatively adapt lessons to suit the child’s pace and interests. Familiar with interactive teaching tools, sensory learning techniques, and computer-based learning. Personal Qualities Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about child growth.
