Job Purpose:

To act as the critical interface between our organization and government authorities, ensuring smooth execution of legal and statutory processes. The role involves obtaining necessary approvals, maintaining compliance, and facilitating seamless coordination with legal, real estate, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Record Maintenance:

    • Maintain and update legal records, ensuring systematic filing for easy retrieval and organizational use.
  2. Coordination with Legal Department:

    • Assist in the preparation, registration, and execution of agreements, fostering smooth internal communication across departments.
  3. Liaison with Authorities:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for local statutory and government authorities.
    • Secure approvals, licenses, and clearances, including Land Conversion NOCs and permissions from agencies like BSNL, BWSSB, BESCOM, and other relevant bodies.
  4. Process and Documentation Support:

    • Develop, update, and maintain departmental methodologies, checklists, and processes to streamline operations and enhance compliance.
  5. Government Liaison Activities:

    • Handle interactions with the Revenue Department, local authority offices, Labour Commissioner, Police, Deputy Commissioner, and other state government departments.
    • Collaborate with officials such as local villagers, land surveyors, and department heads to facilitate land-related processes.
  6. Land Records and Survey Coordination:

    • Coordinate land record updates like RTCs, Mutations, and 11E Sketch.
    • Work closely with survey departments (DDLRS, ADLR, Taluk surveyors) to manage surveys, rectifications, and document collection.
  7. Land Conversion and Approvals:

    • Navigate the land conversion process, including preparing and submitting required documentation.
    • Secure departmental clearances and approvals for project requirements, including expansions and renewals with Forest and Revenue Departments.
  8. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay informed on relevant government regulations and compliance standards to ensure organizational adherence.
  9. Travel and Document Collection:

    • Travel across locations to collect, verify, and submit necessary documents to government offices.
  10. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with government officials, ensuring prompt follow-ups, responses, and resolution of pending matters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Degree in Commerce (preferred) with additional qualifications in Law.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years in a liaison role, preferably with a real estate developer handling legal and statutory processes.
  • Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong familiarity with state government departments and processes, including Revenue, Labour, and Police Departments.
    • Expertise in land records management, survey coordination, and documentation for land conversion processes.
    • Proven ability to secure approvals from government authorities like DC, ADC, AC, Tahsildar, and Village Accountants.
    • Comprehensive understanding of government regulations and compliance standards.
    • Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Attributes:

    • Strong ethics, integrity, and professionalism in interactions.
    • High capability to prioritize tasks, follow up with officials, and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Travel:

    • Willingness to travel across locations for documentation and coordination as required.
