Job Description

Role: Technical Project Engineering Manager

Experience: 10 - 18 Years

Key skills: System Architecture, technical design review, Power converters, power conversion, High Voltage, Power electronics, Drives, Motor Controller.

Role & responsibilities

Electrical Engineer & Power electronics profile is a must.
General knowledge of the traction product or Power Electronic Equipment Design.
Is accountable for the technical decisions taken with his/her team during the project execution.
Owning engineering work package and managing the work package through regular monitoring and updating it on monthly basis.
Approving the modification to the product by being a member of CCB (Change Control Board). PrEM is responsible for applicable configuration.
Managing the engineering planning with support of Engineering Planning Manager.
Managing the engineering quality in order to have good quality product, with support of Engineering Quality Manager:
Plans necessary Design Reviews, checks mandatory attendees are invited, makes sure they are done on-time and open issues from design reviews are recorded in Single Open Issue List with Action Plan for closure.
Knowledge on Engineering tasks to be performed.
Managing engineering risks mitigation and savings action plans
Provides input to sub-system manger to update Risk Register and Savings Register
Updates Engineering work package accordingly
Managing, communicating and escalating on critical paths linked to engineering planning.
