About the role Coordinate and facilitate external audits for factory approval like QMS ISO 9001/EN15085-2 Welding Audit/Customer Factory assessment. Coordinate with customer for all quality topics related to Traction Transformer. Documentation for effective implementation of Quality Management System Prepare and release of In-process check list by defining checks at various stages of manufacturing. Conduct In-process inspections on Traction Transformers as per relevant drawings, specifications, checklists, and conduct Quality Gates. Prepare and release of Quality control plans as per customer specification. Prepare and release of certificate of conformity (CoC), configuration management list. NC Management - Overall monitoring & controlling of all nonconformance (Internal & customer complaints) in online NC capturing tool. Conducting root cause analysis, corrective & preventive action for all complex/crucial problems, preparation of 8D/RCA report and its presentation to the customer. Conducting Internal Audits of all cross functional departments to check conformity as per QMS, EHS and Siemens norms on defined interval Customer complaints) being captured in online NC tool Lead vendor qualification by performing system and process audit as per Siemens Energy production part approval process. Perform first article inspection at supplier end for various commodities related to Traction transformer and keeping records for future reference. Lead and support in material localization, cost optimization project in coordination with SCM team. Coordinate with supplier for all supplier caused NCC and their communication to respective buyers, follow up for RCA & CAPA for timely closure. Support Incoming Quality for inspection, decision, TC verification and Customer document review We don’t need superheroes, just super minds. Knowledge acquired in 10-12 years in Quality department of Traction Transformers. Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Certified as auditor for QMS 9001, EMS 14001, OHS 45001 System. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Traction Transformer manufacturing process and related quality requirements. Knowledge of specific quality requirements of railway industry. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, EMS & OHS. Role & responsibilities Responsible for performing of rolling stock ( Car Body, Bogie, cabling interior and exterior fitting, acceptance test of the trains ( traction, break test, acoustic emission and energy observation) inspection at manufacture place as per customer approved inspection and test plan. Interacting with manufacturer, customer, and resolve if any technical problems, Day-to-day line management of the FIC Engineers, ISA Expert and IC Expert who are based at the Train Manufacturers Facility. Distribution of work amongst the key personnel in accordance with the scope of work, approved ITP plans and experience/qualification of the FIC engineers. Observe site activities Meet with the Manufacturer representatives Participate in critical phases of manufacturing by: Communicating and verifying compliance Organizing audits and inspections, specifically monitoring appropriate corrective and preventative actions, and Acting on escalated unresolved non-conformities identified by either the Client or FIC. Review the ongoing activities regarding to ISA of Rolling Stock Reviewing and providing feedback to Manufacturers Inspection and Test Plan(s) Reviewing Log Books prior to factory release of the NEWLY DEVELOPED METRO CARS vehicles for completeness and compliance Providing assurance that all records established provide evidence of conformity to requirements and the effective operation of Manufacturers quality management system are controlled, appropriately identified, stored and protected such that Regular reporting of information, Logs, Reports etc. to Client Critical items would be closely monitored and reported in advance. Job Summary: This product focused position tailors electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products. People in these positions will translate product requirements into hardware and software technical requirements that control the operation of Cummins products in a variety of customer applications. Additionally, there is responsibility to configure (tune), and complete Comprehensive validation testing of the fully integrated hardware and software systems. Key Responsibilities: Benchmark existing technologies in the market. Oversee functional and physical schematics and suggest improvements to the team. Provide inputs on common methodologies for preparing schematic design work, including libraries related to rail applications with Zuken E3. Lead and develop integrated schematics for all cars, ensuring functional, physical, and electrical interface alignments with cross-functional teams and customers. Prepare technical reports for critical subsystems and DVP&R tasks related to project requirements. Review and approve final schematic deliverables for compliance with standards and manufacturing needs. Prepare estimations for projects and timelines based on customer and marketing team requirements. Guide the team in necessary change management and revisions using the E3 tool and follow process requirements. Utilize knowledge and past experience on propulsion and subsystems used in main line locomotives. Apply knowledge of EN standards for rail applications for various electrical schemes in rolling stocks.
