1. Ensuring that competent officers & crew are sourced and placed on board
2. Ensuring timely crew changes are carried out.
3. Ensuring vessels are manned in accordance with vessels SMD and various other related regulations including flag state and local administration regulations.
4. Preparing and monitoring wage structure for officers as per budget.
5. Preparing and monitoring crew related budgets.
6. Ensuring vessels are registered with various crewing related bodies (ITF)
7. Monitoring of various crew related logistic activities
8. Sourcing of officers & ratings
9. Ensuring compliance with various audit requirements.
10. Timely coordination with Tech team for interview and selection of prospective candidates for our vessels.
11. Advertisements for fleet department.
12. Coordinating with Masters of vessels on various crew related issues.
13. Monitoring and coordinating various P&I matters
14. Coordinating with external parties / foreign manning agents for sourcing and selection of officers and crew as required
15. Coordinating with officers and crew and their families during their leave periods. Monitoring / Coordinating with fleet operations team for day to day activities related to crew activities.
16. Monitoring & Ensuring cost effective crew related activities, wages, travel, hotel stay on day to day basis.
17. Ensuring control of expenses in accordance with annual budget.
18. Monitoring of crew related expenses on a day to day basis
19. Maintaining cordial relations with various parties for sourcing of officers for the fleet.
20. Maintaining cordial relation with industry for various updates and brand building
21. Coordinating / communication with seafarers to increase retention and brand building
