Job Description

Responsibilities: Hardware and Software Support: Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user hardware devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and software packages. Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve support requests, incidents, and problems reported by end-users in a timely and efficient manner. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate level of support. Applications & Mac OS Support: Provide support on various applications & services like Google G-suite, Office 365 , Vonage, MS Teams, SharePoint, VPN etc. Troubleshoot and fix Mac OS and Apple device related Issues User Assistance: Assist end-users in setting up new devices and applications, providing guidance and training as needed. Educate users on best practices for utilizing hardware and software to enhance productivity and efficiency. Network and Connectivity: Configure and troubleshoot network connections, both wired and wireless, ensuring connectivity and optimal performance. Collaborate with network administrators to resolve network-related issues and provide seamless access to network resources. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to safeguard company data and information, ensuring compliance with security policies. Conduct regular security audits and updates to mitigate potential vulnerabilities. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of support activities, including incident reports, resolutions, and knowledge base articles. Asset Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, tracking hardware and software licenses, warranties, and usage. Coordinate with vendors for asset procurement, maintenance and part replacement Remote Support: Provide remote support to off-site and remote employees, ensuring a consistent level of service across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 2-5 Years hands on experience in desktop support, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills.
