US Business Tax Manager

7+ Years

Primary Responsibilities

Manage preparation and review of U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including corporate returns (Form 1120), partnership filings (
Form 1065
), and related schedules.

Have deep expertise in U.S. federal and multistate corporate income tax compliance, including knowledge of Forms 1120, 1065, and 8825
Own the full compliance lifecycle (estimated payments, extensions, provision-to-return reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation).
Maintain a real-time, transparent compliance calendar across all entities and jurisdictions.
Respond to and resolve IRS and state tax notices, leading audit responses and communications with tax authorities.
Drive transition from outsourced tax return preparation to internal, logic-driven and automated computation solutions.
Design and maintain modular, version-controlled tax logic libraries.
Partner with Tax Technology, Finance and Legal teams to align tax logic with ERP data systems, workflow automation, and reporting pipelines.

Hybrid model: typically
3 days in the Mumbai office per week
