About the Client:

Our client is a well-established organization operating in a regulated and compliance-driven environment. The organization emphasizes robust tax governance, accurate reporting, and proactive compliance management. This role offers strong exposure to direct tax, litigation, and regulatory interaction within a structured corporate framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax & Corporate Tax:

* Hands-on management of Direct / Corporate Tax matters

* Preparation of income tax computation and deferred tax

* Filing of Income Tax Returns (ROI) along with computation

* Handling tax audits, scrutiny assessments, and appearances before tax authorities

* Drafting detailed submissions for scrutiny assessments

* Drafting appeals and submissions before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)

Compliance & Litigation:

* Direct Tax compliance including TDS payments, e-TDS returns, TAR preparation and filing

* Preparation of data for income tax assessments

* Drafting replies for various income tax notices

* Draft preparation for appeals and litigation matters

Indirect Tax:

* Working knowledge of GST compliance and GST-related litigation

Coordination & Advisory:

* Coordinating with internal teams for data collation, filings, and submissions

* Keeping track of latest tax updates, amendments, circulars, and judicial pronouncements

* Supporting management with tax-related insights and compliance updates

Requirements:

* Strong hands-on experience in Direct / Corporate Tax

* Exposure to tax audits, scrutiny, and litigation

* Working knowledge of GST compliance

* Ability to independently handle filings, assessments, and departmental interactions

* Good drafting skills for submissions and appeals
