About the company:

Our client, a vertically integrated textile manufacturer specializing in bed linen and home textiles. Known for its innovation and sustainability initiatives, it produces a wide range of bedding products including fashion, institutional, and utility lines.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Taxation:

• Handle all Income Tax matters in coordination with consultants including:
• Scrutiny Assessments, Appeals, Block/Search & Seizure proceedings
• Transfer Pricing matters (report preparation, Master TP documentation, filings)
• TDS/TCS compliance, returns filing, and departmental representation.
• Foreign remittance matters including Form 15CA/CB filing at the Income Tax portal
• Ensure timely and accurate Income Tax compliances:
• Tax Audit report preparation & finalization.
• Transfer Pricing audit support and documentation.
• Other statutory filings (online/offline)

Indirect Taxation

• Oversee GST compliance including monthly/annual return filings, reconciliations, audits, and responding to departmental queries
• Monitor GST input credit, refunds (especially for export transactions) and ensure proper documentation
• Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders for handling GST assessments, notices, and appeals
• Work closely with the logistics & supply chain team for import/export tax matters

• Accounts & Consolidation

Assist in conversion of foreign subsidiary accounts into INR and preparation of consolidated

accounts under IND-AS

• Liaise with foreign subsidiary auditors for quarterly/year-end audit finalization
• Work with finance team on investment accounting and related incomes
• Support logistics team in finalizing cost MIS and reconciliation

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor a small taxation team; allocate and review work
• Collaborate across Finance, Logistics, and Operations for smooth compliance and reporting
• Present taxation and compliance status to management via advanced Excel reports &
• PowerPoint presentations

Key Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP (finance/taxation modules preferred)
• Strong skills in Advanced Excel and preparing management presentations
• Team handling experience and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
