Ensure availability and calibration of furnaces, moulding machines, cranes, and testing equipment. 6. Team Management & Safety Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians . Conduct regular skill development and safety training sessions. Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and housekeeping norms. 7. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with design, production planning, quality, and procurement teams for smooth operations. Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports. Participate in management reviews and audits related to foundry operations. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of non-ferrous metallurgy , especially aluminium and its alloys Proficiency in casting simulation software (MAGMA / ProCAST) preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and communication abilities Sound understanding of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 systems Data-driven approach to production and quality improvement Performance Indicators: Reduction in rejection and rework rates Improvement in metal yield and furnace efficiency Achievement of production targets and quality KPIs Compliance with safety and environmental standards Cost optimization and process improvement initiatives Preferred candidate profile
