Role & responsibilities

Role Overview
The Private Label/White Label Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing private label and white label business opportunities across categories. This role involves vendor development, product development, pricing, compliance, and driving overall revenue growth for private label & B2B custom-brand clients.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Business Development & StrategyIdentify new private/white label product opportunities and revenue streams.Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and category benchmarking.Develop business plans and strategies to increase market share and margins.Identify B2B clientsretailers, corporates, hotels, D2C brands, distributors.

B. Vendor & Supplier Management
Source qualified manufacturers, co-packers, and suppliers.Negotiate MOQs, pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.Ensure supplier capability in quality, production capacity, and compliance.Build strong, long-term supply relationships.

C. Product Development & Launch
Manage product ideation, formulation, sampling, packaging & costing.Coordinate with R&D, QC, design & procurement teams.Ensure regulatory compliance (FSSAI, FDA, ISO, packaging norms).Drive timely launch and onboarding on retail/e-commerce channels.

D. Sales & Client Management
Onboard B2B/white label clients and manage end-to-end execution.Create custom product catalogs, proposals, and presentations.Drive revenue growth through cross-selling & up-selling.Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat business.

E. Operations & Project Management
Oversee production timelines, dispatch, and project milestones.Coordinate with logistics, finance, and warehouse teams.Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure smooth execution.

F. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct periodic quality checks and sample testing.Review packaging, artwork, labeling, and statutory declarations.Ensure all documentation, COAs, and compliance certificates are valid.
