Hiring Cost Accountant @MGM Healthcare Hospitals

About the Role:

Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and monitor cost sheets for healthcare services, consumables, and projects.
Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and prepare reports on contribution margins, profitability, and cost drivers.
Provide cost data to support service/package pricing, tenders, and financial modeling.
Support statutory and internal cost audits, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific practices.
Generate accurate MIS reports and provide timely cost insights for decision-making.
Use ERP and BI tools (SAP/Oracle/Tally, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel) to automate cost tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with Operations, Projects, SCM, and unit-level finance teams to validate and analyze cost data.
Track patient-level profitability and ensure cost transparency across departments (IPD, OPD, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, etc.).

Ideal Candidate:

CMA or CA
2–5 years of experience in costing, finance, or accounts; healthcare/pharma/manufacturing exposure is an advantage.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with hands-on ERP and Excel expertise.
Experience with cost audits, pricing models, and variance reporting.
Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and able to translate cost data into actionable insights.
High integrity, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills.
