JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Maintain a safe working environment at site. To obtain approval from corporate safety department and subsequently from client as required. Ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment's as per standards. Daily site inspection in order to observe physical condition of work and the work practices and procedures followed by workers and reporting to project manager and concerned staff. Identify any abnormalities / deviations in house keeping, spills and EHS violations and report to project manager. Obtaining safety declaration forms from the sub agencies as per corporate safety policy 2. Ensure compliance with statutory provisions and necessary documentation. Attend internal and external audits. Follow up for effective implementation of recommendations and observations/remarks by the auditors. Generate the records for closure of NCs raised in the audit. Accident investigation to determine root cause. Document the case studies of various types of accidents at site. Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations. 3. Continually raise the awareness level on basic safety aspects amongst engineers, contractors and workers. Provide training, coaching and facilitating for site level personnel to enhance their competency and capabilities of achieving safety targets and goals. Display safety posters at site to generate awareness. Organize toolbox meetings, induction programs with the workers as required. To carry out mock drills and other checks for preparedness during emergency. Impart necessary training to improve preparedness level. Identify scope for savings on personal protective equipments without compromise on safety. DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Should be B.Sc / B.E./B.Tech/Diploma (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) with 5-15 yrs of experience. Should have recognized diploma in safety from state technical board MSBTE or AICTE High rise building experience is mandatory. Preferred candidate profile Ensure adherence to all statutory and company-specific safety regulations and protocols. Conduct routine inspections of foundry processes (melting, pouring, core making, fettling, etc.) to identify and mitigate risks. Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, risk assessments, and safety improvement plans. Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions. Organize regular safety training and toolbox talks for all employees and contractors. Maintain safety records, including inspection checklists, training logs, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, Factory Act, and GPCB/PCB safety guidelines. Coordinate emergency response drills (fire, spill, evacuation) and ensure readiness of all safety equipment. Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE, safety signage, and lockout/tagout procedures. Liaise with government authorities during inspections, audits, and accident investigations.

Support the execution of new products during T&V. Participate in lab experimental studies and understand process during lab development. Perform experiments at lab scale for engineering studies. Generate process data sheets. Generate mass and energy balance at lab and plant scale. Develop P&ID and facility creation. Perform equipment & facility qualification. Support during the trouble shoot of process failures. Prepare technical investigation report for the process failures. Initiate changes in process and facility through change control. Preparation and maintenance of safety documentation as per client’s requirements. 19. Penalty to workers who make the same mistake again after warning about the dangers. 20. Ensure proper hygiene of the Toilets at Site for Hygiene Purposes. 21. Safety Meetings with Clients. 22. Safety Audit. IDEAL CANDIDATE PREFERENCE: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate or Diploma in Fire & Safety/ Industrial Safety/ Environmental Health Safety.
