Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Highway Design Engineer (Core Highway Design ) located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The Highway Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as highway design, roadway design, drainage design, and transportation planning. Qualifications Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or related field Min 3 to 5 years of experience in core highway design Minimum work experience of a completed (either partially – 50% or fully – 100%) Detailed Design project / DPR works with focus on designing aspects Experience working on Proof checking, Authority/Independent Engineering projects. Lead and manage the geometric design of highways, expressways, and rural roads per IRC and MoRTH standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (Plan and profile drawings, Corridor Modelling, Multiple cross-sections, Earthwork, Sub-assembly composer, etc.), KGPBack, IITPave, etc. Strong knowledge of highway design standards (IRC, or other relevant codes). Experience with pavement design, drainage design-analysis, and traffic engineering. Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and best practices. •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, surveyors and environmental engineers, etc. •Mentor junior engineers and review their design deliverables. •Interact with clients, government agencies (like MoRTH, NHAI, PWD, etc.), and contractors. •Prepare documentation for DPRs, feasibility studies, and technical presentations.
