Highway Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Minimum work experience of a completed (either partially – 50% or fully – 100%) Detailed Design project / DPR works with focus on designing aspects
• Experience working on Proof checking, Authority/Independent Engineering projects.
• Lead and manage the

  geometric design of highways

  , expressways, and rural roads per IRC and MoRTH standards.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD Civil 3D

  (Plan and profile drawings, Corridor Modelling, Multiple cross-sections, Earthwork, Sub-assembly composer, etc.), KGPBack, IITPave, etc.
• Strong knowledge of highway design standards (IRC, or other relevant codes).
• Experience with pavement design, drainage design-analysis, and traffic engineering.
• Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and best practices.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, surveyors and environmental engineers, etc.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their design deliverables.
• Interact with clients, government agencies (like MoRTH, NHAI, PWD, etc.), and contractors.
• Prepare documentation for DPRs, feasibility studies, and technical presentations.

Qualifications

Master in Transportation/ Highway Engineering with minimum 2-3 years of experience in core highway design
