Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Highway Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and analysis of highway and roadway projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare detailed highway design drawings and plans using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.

•Conduct horizontal and vertical alignment design, corridor modeling, and cross-section generation.

•Perform geometric design in accordance with local, national, and international highway design standards.

•Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and traffic flow analysis.

•Coordinate with survey, drainage, geotechnical, and environmental teams.

•Ensure designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and aligned with safety and accessibility standards.

•Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and tender documents.

•Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

•Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on design deliverables.

•Support project managers in tracking progress, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and master’s degree in Transportation Engineering.

•0 to 3 years of experience in highway or transportation infrastructure design.

•Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.

•Good understanding of roadway design standards.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
