Job Description

About the Role:

Helpdesk Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
first-level support
for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
Respond to IT support requests via
phone, email, ticketing systems, or in-person
.
Diagnose and troubleshoot
technical problems
, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
Install, configure, and maintain
computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment
.
Assist with
password resets, account setup, and user access management
.
Maintain and update
IT support documentation
and knowledge base articles.
Monitor and ensure the health of
desktop systems, networks, and software applications
.
Provide guidance and training to users on
IT best practices and system usage
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as
CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft MTA/MCP
.
Experience with
Active Directory, Exchange, or cloud-based productivity suites
(Office 365, Google Workspace).
Familiarity with
remote desktop support tools
and VPN access management.
Basic knowledge of
cybersecurity principles and best practices
.
