Help Desk Technician

**Job Description:** As a Technical Support Specialist, your role will involve troubleshooting and problem-solving computer and network issues, encompassing hardware, software, and operating systems. You will be responsible for providing customer support through various channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions. Additionally, you will be involved in issue tracking and documentation by logging problems, documenting solutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware, including printers and peripherals. - Providing remote technical support over the phone or internet. - Training end-users on new technologies and software. - Keeping yourself updated on system updates, new hardware, and software. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. - Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure. - Quick problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and maintain accurate records of issues and solutions. - Proficiency in using IT help desk ticketing systems and other tools for managing and tracking issues. **Note:** This position is open for freshers and only candidates who are Tamil speakers will be considered for hiring.
