Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our IT support team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for resolving IT issues, assisting users with technical problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Assist users with network connectivity issues, including VPN access and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Document support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system for future reference.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
• Train users on software applications and best practices for technology use.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and experience with basic networking troubleshooting (e.g., IP configuration, DNS issues).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
