Help Desk Technician

Role Overview: As a Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and resolve computer and network issues, including hardware, software, and operating systems. You will also provide technical assistance to users through various channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and documenting issues, installing and maintaining software and hardware, providing remote support, training end-users on new technologies, and staying updated on system updates and new hardware and software releases. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnosing and resolving computer and network issues - Providing technical assistance to users via phone, email, chat, or in-person - Logging and tracking issues, documenting solutions, and escalating complex problems - Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware, including printers and peripherals - Providing remote technical support over the phone or internet - Training end-users on new technologies and software - Keeping abreast of system updates, new hardware, and software Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure - Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues - Ability to analyze problems and identify root causes - Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of issues, solutions, and user interactions - Familiarity with IT Help Desk Systems and help desk ticketing systems Please note that this is a hiring opportunity for freshers who are Tamil speakers only.
