Department: Logistics / Transport
Reports To: Transport Manager / Fleet Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license, excellent driving skills, and knowledge of road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of cargo.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of the truck before and after trips.
• Adhere to all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Keep logbooks, delivery records, and mileage reports accurately.
• Report mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
• Load and unload cargo (with or without assistance).
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV/Commercial License).
• Proven experience as a heavy truck driver.
• Familiarity with GPS devices, maps, and route planning.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety rules.
• Ability to handle long hours of driving and flexible work shifts.
• Physically fit to manage loading/unloading tasks if required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum: High School / 10th Pass.
• Prior experience in long-haul trucking, logistics, or transportation preferred.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹14,279.05 - ₹25,000.00 per month
