Heavy Driver

Position Summary

The Heavy Duty Driver cum Office Assistant is responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles for company transportation needs while also performing general administrative and office support tasks. This role ensures safe driving, timely deliveries, and smooth daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transportation

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles (e.g., trucks, buses, pickups) safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, equipment, or staff as assigned.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods following safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and service records of assigned vehicles.
• Comply with traffic rules and company driving policies.

Office Support & Administration

• Assist with filing, photocopying, scanning, and document management.
• Run office errands (bank deposits, mail delivery, purchase of supplies, etc.).
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, preparing simple reports, or organizing documents.
• Assist in receiving and dispatching office materials.
• Help maintain office cleanliness and support basic facility tasks when required.

Logistics & Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and admin teams regarding transportation schedules.
• Assist in inventory movement and documentation, if assigned.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of documents, parcels, and supplies.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow company health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
• Ensure all vehicle-related documents (license, insurance, permits) are valid.
• Report accidents, delays, or issues immediately to the supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
