Role Overview:

A Health Insurance Back Office Executive supports health insurance operations by handling policy processing, endorsements, renewals, claims coordination, and documentation. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and smooth coordination between insurers, TPAs, agents, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Operations:

Create, issue, and maintain health insurance policies

Process endorsements (additions, deletions, corrections)

Handle policy renewals and follow-ups

Verify proposals and KYC documents

Data & Documentation

Maintain accurate records in CRM / HRMS / Insurance portals

Upload and manage policy documents, invoices, and endorsements

Prepare MIS and daily/weekly reports

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and sales teams

Support agents and relationship managers with backend requirements

Respond to customer and internal queries via email or portal

Required Skills

Knowledge of Health Insurance products (Retail & Group)

Understanding of TPA processes and claims workflow

Strong documentation and data entry skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and insurance portals

Good communication and coordination skills

Attention to detail and process-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate (Any stream)

1–3 years experience in health insurance back office / operations

Experience working with insurance companies, brokers, or TPAs
