Job Description

Preferred candidate profile B.Tech / B.E. / Bsc. with 5 years in HSE from Wind Energy (preferred), Telecom, Engineering, Construction, Projects, Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure Engineering, Project Management. Diploma in Engineering with 8 years in HSE from Wind Energy (preferred), Telecom, Engineering, Construction, Projects, Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure Engineering, Project Management. Experience in Installation of Wind turbine. Role & responsibilities Managing and Reporting of site HSE function Broad knowledge and experience in HSE risk assessments and audit processes. Sound understanding of HSE legislative requirements. Ability to conduct & manage HSE audits, inspections and Incident investigation. Follow up and coordination of incidents and accidents investigation and corrective actions Effective management of Road Safety. Competency in Electrical hazard & management, PTW System / LOTO / Safe system of working. Implementing company HSE policies and procedures throughout the organization SAP reporting about HSE figures, status and measures to Group Safety Management Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines Enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law Implementation of Health and Safety Management Policy, as well as including strategic HSE goals and targets at project site and striving to achieve or maintain the zero-accident goal Implement and monitor all HSE procedures and recommend strategies to avoid all accidents and implement all health and safety hazards for all sites. Coordinate in conducting periodic meetings with company Management about Safety status and measures for the ongoing projects Ensuring Safety and Safe working environment at offices and work sites Ensure that the safety protection methods are followed and required safety devices are provided Safety inspection for workplaces to identify the unsafe act and conditions, hazards and taking preventive and corrective measures. Manage communication strategies and prepare required newsletters and design and implement efficient site safety training programs and perform investigation to eliminate all issues. Should have knowledge for implementation of Management System such as ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
