Head - Training & Placement Department

As the Head of Training & Placement at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, your role will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for training and placement of students. You will be responsible for fostering strong industry relationships, managing the placement process, and designing career development programs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strategizing and achieving successful career outcomes for students through a robust campus recruitment process. - Coordinating with Deans of respective Schools to plan and strategize training and placement activities. - Organizing placement drives on-campus and off-campus for students. - Achieving targets for annual recruitment processes, summer internships, and live projects. - Planning and engaging with corporates for strategic activities such as guest lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and student trainings. - Assisting students in creating resumes, cover letters, finding internships, and applying for jobs in their fields. - Conducting mock interviews to prepare students for common questions and providing information about hiring companies. - Collaborating with key stakeholders including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing, and Admissions teams to achieve career services and institutional objectives. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Master's degree in Management from a reputed University. - Minimum 10 years of full-time experience in the Training & Placement department or a reputed corporate industry. - Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. - Sound knowledge of industry requirements and placement skills. - Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills for networking with employers. - Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the education industry.,
