Head Technology

The Role

We seek to hire Head-Technology to lead the technology strategy and oversee the technological direction of our organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing technology strategies, managing the technology team, ensuring the successful implementation of technological innovations, and aligning technology with clear business and companys overall goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technology vision and strategy for the organization in the stated area of HumanCentered AI.
• Oversee the development and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with business objectives. The projects could be customer led projects, and strategic projects of the iHub.
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team. The team would comprise experts in Computer Vision and AI ML, Perception Engineering and Generative AI.
• Monitor and assess emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of the technology infrastructure and platforms.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set long-term business goals and strategies, integrating technology solutions to support these objectives.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating research and technical understanding relating to business goals.
• Manage budgets for technology departments, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security regulations, and legal requirements related to technology.
• Be abreast of the trends in technologies in Human-Centered AI while guiding the organizations vision.

Qualification:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, technology or a related field.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.
• Proven experience as a Head-Technology or in other technology leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in software development, cloud computing, data management, setting up technology labs, and providing technology consulting services.
• HCi and HCAi should be the key focus areas, and the candidate must possess a strong understanding of emerging technologies and trends relevant to these domains.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with a focus on long-term goals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives across application development, infrastructure and new age technologies.
• Strong background in software engineering or system architecture.
• Experience with managing technology investments, or working with external vendors, service and product providers.
• Experience in; leading high-impact projects, being a founder of a startup, or having successfully exited from a startup.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Remuneration:

Negotiable based on relevant experience and suitability/fit.
