Job Description

Position:

Purpose of the Role

To efficiently manage and control the electronic stores operations of the plant, ensuring 100% stock accuracy, effective inventory management, and compliance with ISO/IMS standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee receipt, issuance, storage, and preservation of all materials (Raw materials, Semi-finished components, Consumables, Tools, Packing materials, Spares, Hazardous materials).
Implement
cycle counting
and
perpetual stock verification
based on ABC classification.
Ensure systematic storage and handling of electronic materials (Resistors, Chips, PCBs, ICs, etc.).
Apply various inventory management techniques to maintain stock accuracy at both
in-house
and
job worker
locations.
Analyze stock deviations, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
Maintain accurate
SAP records
for all material movements.
Ensure
FIFO system
is strictly followed.
Monitor obsolete material disposal and ensure timely clearance.
Train operators and team members on systems, processes, and inventory best practices.
Maintain
5S standards
in stores.
Prepare and present
MIS reports
and documentation as per ISOTS / IMS standards.
Raise and reconcile debit notes against job workers in case of stock discrepancies.
