Head of Operations Employee Transport

As the Vice President Head of Operations based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding end-to-end operations nationwide. Your role will involve managing fleet operations, charging infrastructure, supply chain, driver operations, service delivery, and operational excellence across various cities. Your strong operational acumen, effective team leadership, and capability to drive sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving industry will be crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Devising and executing national operations strategies aligned with business objectives and ESG standards - Establishing scalable operational models for multi-city EV fleet operations - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and efficiency - Monitoring key performance indicators related to fleet uptime, charging utilization, turnaround time, SLA adherence, and cost optimization - Implementing tech-driven standard operating procedures and real-time dashboards for informed decision-making - Continuously enhancing logistics, asset deployment, and energy consumption practices Additionally, you will be accountable for the national P&L and will need to: - Ensure profitability through operational efficiency - Supervise EV fleet deployment, maintenance, servicing, and lifecycle planning across regions - Track sustainability metrics for environmental compliance - Build and lead a high-performing operations team - Establish performance management systems and incentives for ground staff and drivers - Oversee recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies for drivers - Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement - Ensure regulatory compliance - Identify and mitigate operational risks - Set up audit controls and service quality assurance frameworks - Leverage technology tools for digitizing operations - Collaborate with the product team to enhance fleet tracking, route planning, and maintenance tools The ideal candidate for this role should: - Hold an MBA from a Tier-1 & 2 institute or a B.Tech + MBA with operational specialization - Possess 12-18 years of total experience with at least 5+ years in national or regional operational leadership roles - Have exposure to sectors such as mobility, logistics, EVs, renewable energy, fleet, or last-mile delivery - Demonstrate key competencies including strategic thinking, operational insight, tech proficiency, people leadership, stakeholder management, process excellence, cost control mindset, and experience in high-growth or startup environments,
