With a strong focus on agility, innovation, and customer-centricity, they are looking to strengthen their legal leadership by hiring a Head of Legal who can set up and scale the legal function across domestic and international operations. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced legal leader to join as Head of Legal , responsible for setting the strategic legal direction of the company and ensuring end-to-end compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. This is a leadership role reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic legal guidance to the CEO, board, and executive leadership. Lead and build the legal department, driving legal operations and vision. Draft, review, and negotiate high-value contracts (commercial, vendor, partnership, licensing, SaaS, etc.). Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable Indian and international laws (IT Act, data protection laws, employment laws, etc.). Oversee corporate governance and manage secretarial responsibilities (board meetings, filings, resolutions, statutory compliance). Identify legal risks and design mitigation strategies aligned with business goals. Manage IP strategy, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Oversee litigation, manage legal disputes, and coordinate with external counsels. Recruit, mentor, and lead an internal legal team over time. Key Skills & Qualifications LLB from a reputed institution (LLM is a plus). 1015 years of post-qualification legal experience. Prior experience in a leadership role within a tech/product/SaaS company preferred. Strong understanding of corporate law, technology contracts, IP, and data privacy. Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
