Job Description

Head of Inventory & Warehousing

Location: Kochi, Kerala

About the Role

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for efficient inventory management, storage, and distribution of materials.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal space utilization, material handling, and safety compliance.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and planning teams to maintain stock accuracy and avoid shortages or excesses.
Lead initiatives to improve warehouse processes, including automation, material flow, and inventory tracking.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all warehousing activities.
Lead and mentor a team of warehouse managers, inventory controllers, and storekeepers.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in inventory management and warehousing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, logistics, and supply chain strategy.

Preferred Skills

Experience with process improvements and warehouse automation initiatives.
