The role supports both local and international procurement operations, ensuring timely acquisition of quality materials in line with project needs. Working closely with planning, engineering, and logistics teams, the Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Alutec’s delivery of high-profile façade projects across the GCC region from our Kochi office. Key Responsibilities: Source suppliers and materials locally and internationally based on project demands and technical specifications. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective and reliable procurement. Issue and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely delivery and supplier accountability. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards on quality, timelines, and commercial terms. Coordinate with planning, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between material availability and project schedules. Maintain accurate procurement records, tracking order statuses and updating procurement logs. Address supplier issues, resolve delivery discrepancies, and initiate corrective action where necessary. Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction strategies in sourcing and vendor management. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing Experience in the construction or façade industry. Experience working with local and international suppliers is highly preferred. Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
