Head of Global Logistics - Procurement & Warehousing

As the Head of Global Logistics - Procurement & Warehousing, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics functions within the global supply chain. This includes managing inbound and outbound transportation, import/export logistics, warehousing, procurement logistics, customs compliance, and third-party logistics partners. Your role is pivotal in driving automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, visibility, and value creation in logistics processes, directly contributing to the organization's manufacturing and commercial objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee all logistics functions within the global supply chain - Manage inbound and outbound transportation, import/export logistics, warehousing, procurement logistics, and customs compliance - Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and visibility - Ensure reliable, cost-effective, and compliant movement of materials and finished goods globally - Manage third-party logistics partners effectively **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - 10-15 years of progressive experience in global logistics - Expertise in import/export, customs compliance, procurement logistics, and warehousing within a manufacturing setting - At least 5 years of experience in a global leadership role spanning multiple countries - Proficiency in logistics automation and digitization tools such as SAP TM, Oracle SCM Cloud, Manhattan TMS/WMS, Blue Yonder (JDA), Descartes, CargoWise, Project44, FourKites, or similar platforms - Deep understanding of Incoterms, trade compliance, customs processes, and documentation standards - Preferred certifications: APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM, PMP, or other project management certifications In this role, you will be expected to develop global logistics strategy, implement digital transformation and automation, manage freight forwarders and customs house agents, ensure export and import compliance, provide manufacturing logistics support, optimize warehouse operations, manage risks, lead teams, think analytically, and engage stakeholders on a cross-functional and global scale.,
