They should have a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in global logistics, including expertise in import/export, customs compliance, procurement logistics, and warehousing within a manufacturing setting. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience in a global leadership role with responsibilities spanning multiple countries is required. Proficiency in logistics automation, digitization, and transformation is essential for this role, along with practical experience using tools like SAP TM, Oracle SCM Cloud, Manhattan TMS/WMS, Blue Yonder (JDA), Descartes, CargoWise, Project44, FourKites, or similar platforms. A deep understanding of Incoterms, trade compliance, customs processes, and documentation standards is also necessary. The successful candidate should demonstrate a track record of leading large-scale logistics networks and effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred certifications for this role include APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM, as well as PMP or other project management certifications.
