Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Planning and Execution:

• Develop a comprehensive plan of work(POW) for Grades 9 and 10 English curriculum.
• Design detailed lesson plans aligned with CBSE standards and board exam requirements.

2. Teacher Training and Development:

• Conduct regular training sessions for teachers on effective teaching methodologies.
• Train teachers on crafting board-level question papers and marking schemes.
• Provide strategies to teachers on improving board exam scores for students, including achieving centum.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Develop assessment papers in alignment with CBSE board-level expectations.
• Guide teachers in identifying and supporting struggling students to improve their performance.

4. Monitoring and Support:

• Track syllabus completion and adherence across schools.
• Review reading and progress reports of English teachers and provide actionable feedback.
• Conduct classroom observations to ensure effective teaching practices are being implemented.

5. Travel and Coordination:

• Travel across branches within the same city as required to ensure quality assurance and provide on-ground support.

Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or Education.

● Proven 4+ years of experience in teaching of grade 9th and 10th students

● In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and board examination standards.

● 2 years of experience as CBSE Board Examination Evaluator.

● Strong training, mentoring, and leadership skills.

● Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

● Willingness to travel extensively.
