Head of Ecommerce

Role Overview: As the Marketing Manager at Jaipur Rugs, a social enterprise dedicated to bridging rural craftsmanship with global markets through exquisite handmade carpets, your primary responsibility will be to oversee online activities aimed at driving traffic acquisition, sales, and conversion. You will also be involved in conducting a/b testing and reporting to ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement an ecommerce strategy to enhance website performance - Collaborate with developers to improve website speed - Coordinate with the marketing team or supervise digital marketers to enhance quality and traffic acquisition - Re-platform the website to a new CMS and ensure mobile compatibility - Conduct market research to identify trends and technologies for improved website performance - Analyze data to formulate data-driven strategies for top performance and KPI achievement - Supervise digital marketing channels including PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates, email marketing, and social media - Create a content calendar, oversee website uploads, and manage landing page development - Provide performance reports Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in developing and implementing successful ecommerce strategies - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive insights for strategy formulation - Prior experience in overseeing digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, email marketing, etc. - Excellent communication and team management skills - Familiarity with website re-platforming and CMS management - Passion for driving growth and achieving results through digital marketing initiatives (Note: Additional details about Jaipur Rugs, its unique business model empowering over 40,000 artisans across 600 rural Indian villages, and its globally recognized hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs crafted using traditional art forms have been omitted for brevity.),
