Head of Design

As an experienced and competitive engineer, your role will be to oversee the project and carry out various responsibilities related to designing complete solar power plants. You should have deep knowledge and proficiency in AC/DC design for solar PV plants, technology selection, and detailed engineering. Your qualifications and experience should align with the following requirements: Key Responsibilities: - Prepare AC/DC single-line diagrams and select technology for Solar PV plants - Perform pre-bid engineering and detailed design engineering - Create technical specifications for AC and DC systems, substations, string/array configuration, metering, and protection SLD - Calculate MV and LV cable sizing, transformer sizing, relay setting, coordination, earthing design, lightning protection - Design switchyard layout, control cable schedule, illumination design, HT switchgear reviewing - Plan cable routing/trench layout, equipment room layout, and trench layout for PV plant - Conduct site visits, topographical and geotechnical surveys, and provide guidance on civil/mechanical designs - Proficiency in AUTOCAD, PVSyst, and other relevant tools - Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plan - Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards - Provide technical support during construction phase, conduct site inspections, and resolve design-related issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering - Professional Engineer license is highly desirable - Minimum 6-8 years of experience in designing complete solar power plants - Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components - Knowledge of local, state, and central regulations related to solar energy and constructions Additional Company Details: - Effective Technical Skills, Negotiation Skills, Communication & Leadership Skills are essential - Proficiency in AutoCAD Programming and Matlab is required This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to showcase their skills and contribute to the successful completion of solar power plant projects.,
