Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and competitive engineer to manage our Project in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Job Roles & Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Creating AC/DC Single Line Diagrams and selecting technology for Solar PV plant. - Conducting Pre-Bid Engineering and Detailed Design Engineering. - Developing technical specifications for the complete AC and DC system, substation, and networks. - Selecting optimum string/array configuration, metering, protection SLD, and inverter sizing. - Performing MV and LV cable sizing calculations, transformer sizing calculation, relay setting calculation, and coordination. - Designing earthing and lightning protection for the switchyard and PV area. - Layout design for switchyard, trench layout, control cable schedule, and illumination design. - Reviewing switchgear, RMU, ICOG panel drawings, earthing layout, and cable routing for the complete system. - Evaluating potential solar PV project sites through site visits and surveys. - Guiding civil/mechanical design engineers in developing detailed civil designs for Solar PV systems. - Utilizing AUTOCAD, PVSyst, and other relevant tools effectively. - Developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. - Ensuring designs comply with regulations and standards. - Providing technical support during the construction phase. - Conducting site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. - Addressing and resolving design-related issues that may arise during construction. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. - Professional Engineer license is highly desirable. - Minimum 6-8 years of experience in designing complete solar power plants. - Proficiency in AUTOCAD, PVSYST, and other relevant tools. - Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components. - Knowledge of local, state, and central regulations related to solar energy and constructions. As an Electrical Design Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for various aspects of electrical design within the field. With 5 to 8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in tasks such as load sizing, transformer sizing, cable sizing, generator sizing, battery charger & battery sizing, earthing calculation, and lightning protection calculation. Additionally, you will be involved in conductor sizing calculation for Plant & Switchyard projects. Your duties will also include the preparation of essential diagrams and layouts such as Single Line Diagram (SLD), lighting layout, lightning layout, earthing layout, cable routing layout for Plant & Switchyard, Switchyard layout, and Electrical Switchgear room layout. You will work on the protection system of electrical equipment like Transformers, Motors, Busbars, and DG sets. This will involve calculations for the earthing system, lightning protection system, and lighting system following IS/IEC/IEEE standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing Power cable, Control cable & Interconnection Schedules for Plant & Switchyard, as well as specifications and data sheets for various electrical equipment. Your role will involve reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings & documents, carrying out Technical Bid analysis, expediting with vendors for electrical equipment, and conducting inspections. Your expertise in Electrical Engineering Codes & standards (IS/IEC/IEEE) will be essential for this role. You should also have experience in power system studies including Short Circuit Study, Load Flow Study, and Motor Starting Study using tools like ETAP. Flexibility is key for this role, as you may be required to travel long term or short term to various project sites, client offices, or consultant offices based on project requirements. Your presence will be crucial for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during project execution.,
