Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and competitive engineer to manage our Project in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Job Roles & Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Creating AC/DC Single Line Diagrams and selecting technology for Solar PV plant. - Conducting Pre-Bid Engineering and Detailed Design Engineering. - Developing technical specifications for the complete AC and DC system, substation, and networks. - Selecting optimum string/array configuration, metering, protection SLD, and inverter sizing. - Performing MV and LV cable sizing calculations, transformer sizing calculation, relay setting calculation, and coordination. - Designing earthing and lightning protection for the switchyard and PV area. - Layout design for switchyard, trench layout, control cable schedule, and illumination design. - Reviewing switchgear, RMU, ICOG panel drawings, earthing layout, and cable routing for the complete system. - Evaluating potential solar PV project sites through site visits and surveys. - Guiding civil/mechanical design engineers in developing detailed civil designs for Solar PV systems. - Utilizing AUTOCAD, PVSyst, and other relevant tools effectively. - Developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. - Ensuring designs comply with regulations and standards. - Providing technical support during the construction phase. - Conducting site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. - Addressing and resolving design-related issues that may arise during construction. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. - Professional Engineer license is highly desirable. - Minimum 6-8 years of experience in designing complete solar power plants. - Proficiency in AUTOCAD, PVSYST, and other relevant tools. - Strong understanding of solar energy systems and components. - Knowledge of local, state, and central regulations related to solar energy and constructions.
