Position Overview:

As the Technical Head of Department - UAV Drones

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the UAV department, overseeing all technical aspects of drone development, from integration to final product delivery.
• Supervise the design, testing, and refinement of both consumer and industrial drone systems, ensuring seamless integration of flight controllers, propulsion systems, avionics, and payloads.
• Guide the development and customization of UAV software, including flight control systems, telemetry, and data management.
• Ensure all UAV products meet rigorous quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the UAV team.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, production, marketing, and sales teams to align product development with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies in our drone systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.

• Experience:

  Minimum 10+ years in UAV development, with extensive experience in both consumer and industrial UAV systems.

• Technical Skills:

• Expertise in UAV system integration, avionics, propulsion, flight control, and sensors.

• Hands-on experience with drone assembly, testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in UAV software, including flight control systems (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot) and embedded firmware.
• Familiarity with CAD software and avionics systems.

• Leadership:

  Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving product development from concept to production.

• Collaboration:

  Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive product success.
