Job Description

Based in Kochi, India, as Head of Data Engineering EMEA, you are the driving force behind the technical success of our data initiatives across the region. You lead multiple data engineering teams spread over different countries within EMEA, ensuring they work effectively together, share knowledge, and continuously improve.

You are responsible for developing a future-proof data architecture that is scalable, secure, and efficient. You work closely with agile teams, DevOps specialists, data scientists, and business stakeholders to successfully deliver complex data projects.

You are not only a technical expert but also an inspiring people manager who knows how to develop and motivate talent. You build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership within the team. Additionally, you act as a key link between technical teams and management, supporting strategic decision-making and positioning data engineering as a business driver within Cushman & Wakefield.

What you bring

Extensive experience in data engineering, preferably within a multinational environment
Strong knowledge of Databricks, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures
Proven leadership skills managing distributed, agile teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working in agile and DevOps environments
Passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning
