Job Description

The Head of CXE leads Commercial Operations and Go to Market strategy, projects, and execution excellence for respective functions in the Human Pharma business including CRM, CVM, CEE, and AIF. This role involves overseeing Marketing & Sales (M&S) effectiveness, Business Intelligence (Data, Planning & Reporting, Customer Relations Management, Market Research), MCDE (Digital Transformation and Excellence), and Training (Marketing and Sales training, Commercial Sales, Event management). The primary objective is to ensure strong executional excellence in all these areas for sustainable business success. Responsibilities of the role include developing GTM performance in alignment with IMETA and corporate strategy, localizing and implementing Global/Regional Go to Market strategies, managing commercial sales to meet OPU net sales targets, and leading, coaching, and developing all team members and team leaders. The Head of CXE is responsible for adapting and localizing customer global/regional strategy, optimizing customer engagement, supporting compliant engagements with customers, ensuring smooth operation of GTM platforms and processes, leading digital transformation, driving change management, and ensuring compliance in event management process flow. Additionally, financial sustainability through commercial sales, managing commercial sales process workflow, and people management are essential components of this role. Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree, postgraduate degree/MBA in marketing, experience in Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Training. A deep understanding of GTM value stream map, industry knowledge, strong team management and leadership skills, broad understanding of Marketing, Sales, and D&MC, effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally are necessary. A minimum of 10-15 years of business management experience, fluency in English and the local language, and the position being based in Mumbai, are also required.
