Head Manufacturing Assembly Unit (Lighting Products)

Role Overview: As the Manufacturing Head for the assembly unit of lighting products, your role involves overseeing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality control, and coordination of workers to meet targets. You should possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in an assembly environment, and a focus on process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the shop-floor team and manage production activities. - Plan and oversee daily assembly operations for smooth workflow and efficiency. - Allocate tasks to assembly line workers, monitor progress, and ensure production targets are met with desired quality standards. - Identify defects or inconsistencies in products and take corrective actions. - Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards. - Conduct site visits and coordinate with architect/lighting consultant for onsite assistance. - Coordinate with warehouse and procurement team to meet production deadlines. - Manage inventory to minimize wastage and improve cost-effectiveness. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues. Qualifications & Experience: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or related field. - 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/assembly unit, preferably in lighting or electrical products. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles is an added advantage.
