Head Machine Operator

1. Production Planning & Output

• Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets across all packing lines.
• Plan shift-wise manpower and machine allocation for optimal efficiency.
• Minimize downtime and maximize line utilization (target >90%).

2. Machine Performance & Maintenance

• Monitor performance of all machines under operation (filling, sealing, labeling, etc.).
• Ensure preventive and routine maintenance schedules are followed.
• Identify recurring machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for permanent solutions.

3. Quality Assurance

• Ensure all products are packed as per defined quality standards (weight, sealing, labeling, batch coding).
• Conduct regular line inspections to ensure compliance with GMP and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of in-process checks and rejection reports.

4. Team Supervision & Training

• Supervise machine operators, helpers, and line staff for discipline, safety, and performance.
• Train and guide operators on efficient operation, troubleshooting, and quality parameters.
• Conduct periodic skill assessments and recommend training needs.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain shift and daily production reports, downtime analysis, and wastage records.
• Submit machine performance data and operator efficiency reports to the Production Head.
• Ensure all records are audit-ready and compliant with company policies.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and hygiene practices across all production areas.
• Report any unsafe conditions, near misses, or accidents promptly.
• Ensure all machines comply with statutory and internal safety norms.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Support new product trials, line changeovers, and packaging innovations.
• Suggest process optimizations to reduce waste and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
