Role Overview

The Head of Finishes will be responsible for leading, supervising, and delivering all interior and exterior finishing works for a large-scale luxury project in Vizag. This role requires deep expertise in luxury finishing standards, material selection, detailing, and coordination with designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure world-class quality and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Execution

• Lead all activities related to finishes (interiors and exteriors) including marble, stone, joinery, false ceiling, façade, flooring, cladding, paints, and MEP finishing integration.
• Develop finishing schedules, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and designers to translate drawings into execution with highest quality standards.

• Quality Assurance

• Implement quality control measures to ensure luxury-grade workmanship.
• Approve material samples, mock-ups, and vendor/sub-contractor work.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Vendor & Contractor Management

• Manage finishing contractors, artisans, and vendors to deliver premium quality.
• Negotiate with vendors for sourcing high-end finishes and imported materials.
• Ensure finishing works align with budgetary controls without compromising quality.

• Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and finishing specialists.
• Ensure safety, productivity, and smooth coordination between civil, MEP, and finishing teams.

• Client & Stakeholder Interface

• Work closely with project stakeholders, design consultants, and clients to incorporate changes and feedback.
• Present progress reports and highlight risks with mitigation plans.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or equivalent.

• 15–20 years of experience

  in construction, with at least

  8–10 years in luxury residential/commercial finishing projects

  .
• Proven track record of delivering

  high-end finishing works

  (luxury apartments, hotels, commercial towers, or premium villas).
• Strong knowledge of

  international quality standards

  , premium materials, and high-end design detailing.
• Excellent leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vizag.
