HEAD Estimation - Transmission & Distribution

As a qualified candidate for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical disciplines. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent qualification would be highly advantageous. With a minimum of 18 years of experience in the Transmission & Distribution sector, you should have a proven track record in estimating projects related to Transmission Lines, Substations, and Distribution. Your exceptional communication and presentation skills are vital for engaging in effective negotiations with both management and clients. Your technical and management expertise should encompass various key areas, including the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure accurate and comprehensive lists of materials, parts, and labor required for projects. You should excel in creating and managing project timelines, coordinating with teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines efficiently. Engaging with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate terms, prices, delivery schedules, and services is essential. You must have a keen eye for detail when analyzing project requirements to develop precise cost estimates, conducting financial analyses, and presenting critical updates to senior management. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective negotiation, understanding client needs, and ensuring project feasibility are crucial aspects of this role.
