(Best for a strategic + technical leadership role)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a visionary and data-centric leader to head our Data Acquisition & Intelligence function. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, collecting, validating, and maintaining structured information of SMEs across India using AI, automation tools, and advanced data sourcing strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead large-scale data acquisition programs targeting SME PAN India (7.0Cr+ records) having all legal compliance as Indian Govt.Build and manage data collection systems leveraging AI, web scraping, APIs, and third-party data sources.Develop and oversee data cleansing, enrichment, and validation frameworks.Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and ethical use standards.Collaborate with technology teams to integrate the data pipeline with analytics and CRM platforms.Build and mentor a cross-functional team (data engineers, analysts, AI developers).Required Skills & Experience8–15 years of experience in data acquisition, data engineering, or analytics leadership.Expertise in web data extraction (Python, APIs, Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, etc.).Strong background in AI/ML for data matching, entity resolution, and automation.Proven track record in handling large datasets and developing scalable data pipelines.Excellent understanding of Indian SME ecosystem and business data standards (GST, MCA data, etc.).Leadership and project management experience.Preferred BackgroundPrior experience in a data intelligence firm, fintech, B2B marketplace, or analytics company.Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
