Position is with a leading Financial Company which offers a comprehensive range of loan solutions for more than 15 years in India.

Their primary services constitute financing of SME for working capital and growth, personal loans, loans for commercial vehicles and two-wheelers, home improvement loans, loans against property, working capital loans for urban self-employed, loans for rural livelihood advancement, rural housing finance and financing of various rural micro-enterprises.

Position:-Head collection strategy and Governance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic collection plans and initiatives to maximize collection/recovery of overdue loan amounts while minimizing losses and delinquencies.
• Optimize treatment on the performance of Pre-Delinquency Management & Early Delinquency Management utilizing customer attributes and behavioral model techniques along with BIU and design the matchmaking of Risk vs Channel.
• Setting up Targets and monitoring the performances of the team on collection efficiencies & provision release.
• Design and implement end-to-end collections, recovery and legal review framework to improve efficacy.
• Align payouts of agencies to the overall performance targets from time to time for the organization thus driving desired behaviour and financials.
• Adherence to expense budgets by monitoring collection costs by improving efficiencies.
• Ensure to have robust collection platform that the collections team can leverage to ease out their day-to-day operations, co-ordinate with the development team to enhance the platform as per our requirements & conduct UAT and ensure implementation within specified timelines.
• Annual Budgeting activity on NPA & GCL along with the cost budgeting and ensure the actuals are within the budget.
• Ensure to execute the collection processes as defined in the Collection policy & SOPs. Carried out periodic amendments in Policy & SOPs basis any changes proposed by regulatory.
• Guidance/suggestion to policy team on trends observed in delinquent data.
• Build controls and checks at all levels of collection operations through RCSA and KRI to ensure strong self-checks and thus ensure minimum audit gaps.
